Intrapersonal

Who would you want to be friends with in the novel? Explain.

I would want to be friends with Tom Robinson in the novel. That is as i basically respect him for all the moral courage he has shown in the trial in which i applaud him for his honesty and his courage to say out things a black of that time would never have said. I would very much like to make friends with someone so very much honest and yet so caring and empathatic for others including people who would not hesitate to bring him to his death.

In my view, Tom Robinson has shown more respect for himself and for everyone else than just about anyone else in the story , probably except for Atticus Finch. It takes a lot of courage to still be honest in the face of imminent "death" as he was about to receive from the racists all around him in which the most significant act of courage due to his sheer honesty was the fact whereby he said that he cared for Mayella Ewell.

I would like to be friends with him as he is very honest and i very much admire that quality within him as well as his courage, for only honesty between two people can two people become best friends there can ever be , for there is no mistrust and no doubt.
